No. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to start.
Insurance often requires diagnosis to cover services, we can discuss this on your first visit!

Yes.
My practice is intentionally affirming of queer and gender-expansive identities. You won’t need to explain or justify who you are here. This is a space where identity is respected and held with care.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and weight-inclusive.
Rather than focusing only on behaviors, we explore the underlying patterns, emotions, and experiences that have shaped your relationship with food and your body. This often includes understanding how trauma, identity, and nervous system responses are connected to eating patterns.

No! I’m happy to work with adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or self-worth. I have over 10 years of experience in adolescent behavioral health. I also provide family therapy and parent coaching to support improving communication and understanding between parents and their teens!

At this time, I am an in-network provider with Aetna, First Choice Health, Optum, and Lyra EAP. For cash-pay clients, I can provide a superbill if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your insurance plan.
If you’re unsure what your benefits cover, I’m happy to help you think through your options. We can even seek out a singe-case-agreement with your insurance if you’re struggling to find a provider in-network that meets your needs!
